With the news that The Agonist frontwoman Alissa White-Gluz has joined Arch Enemy, that left a void in the Agonist.
The band have a new vocalist lined up already, and her name is Vicky Psarakis. In an official release, the band says:
"Today we announce that after three albums and countless tours we officially part ways with vocalist Alissa White-Gluz. We wish Alissa all the best with Arch Enemy and her future endeavors.
"It is the beginning of a new and exciting chapter for The Agonist! We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to the The Agonist family. Please give a warm welcome to very talented vocalist Vicky Psarakis!
"Stay tuned for new The Agonist material coming very soon!"
