SLIPKNOT Shares Alternate Cover Of .5: The Gray Chapter On Album's Fifth Anniversary

Posted by on October 22, 2019 at 10:31 am

Slipknot's 2014 album .5: The Gray Chapter was a landmark effort from the band. It was their first effort after the death of bassist Paul Gray in 2010, as well as their first without drummer Joey Jordison who quit the band in 2013. It was also Slipknot's first record in six years.

Now on the album's fifth birthday, percussionist Shawn "Clown" Crahan has taken to Instagram to show off one of the contenders for the final cover art of .5: The Gray Chapter.

Today marks the 5th Anniversary of .5: The Gray Chapter. This cover was a strong contender for the final album artwork, and represents where my head was at during the making of this album. -clown
