For a band that has been throwing around the idea of retirement the past few years, Iron Maiden are still pumping out quality jams. Apparently they don't plan on stopping.
According to Talarforum, Bruce Dickinson was talking to a Swedish forum about the band and mentioned that they'd be getting in the studio eventually for a potential 2014 album. Here is the rough translation from the report:
Iron Maiden fans really do not feel that life is hopeless. In addition to the upcoming tour plans the band to record a new album, which, if all goes as planned, scheduled for release in 2014.
Given the awesomeness of their last album, The Final Frontier, I wouldn't mind another Maiden jam. But specifics, Dickinson! We need the deets! Unfortunately, today is not a day of deets, and we'll just have to sit around and wait for the band to come out and say pretty much anything regarding Dickinson's comment. Until then, I've been told the band have put out some pretty quality albums in the past few years or something like that, so I guess go listen to those if you can find them? Damn their elusive nature.
