It looks like the classic AC/DC lineup, sans Malcolm Young, is gettin' back together.
Brian Johnson has all but confirmed he's back in the band. Phil Rudd was spotted at the studios where the band was recording. And now, there is evidence that longtime bassist Cliff Williams is back in the band too.
Williams retired from the band at the end of their Rock or Bust touring, but now it seems he's gone back on his retirement claims. A photo has surfaced of Johnson and Williams training in a Vancouver hotel, the area where the band is believed to be recording, leading to rumors that Williams is back in the fold.
At the time of his retirement, Williams said , “I’m ready to get off the road and do what I do in between tours.” Later he added “Losing Malcolm, the thing with Phil and now with Brian, it’s a changed animal. I feel in my gut it’s the right thing.”
Maybe times have changed.
It's rumored that Malcolm Young will appear on every track on the new album.
