2016 is shaping up to be a solid one for everyone's favorite Arkansas-based doom band Pallbearer! The band previously announced that it would be going on a fairly extensive tour with Baroness starting this August, and has now revealed that there are a few extra dates in which it will be playing shows by itself. At least we believe the band will be playing solo – there could be local openers.

With all that extra set time, maybe the band will cram in a new song (or two)? Pallbearer has announced via its Facebook that it's currently holed up in the studio pre-tour working on a new album. You can check out some of the footage from the studio below, but I can pretty much guarantee you it's the fantastic Pallbearer you've come to know and love over the last two records.
