MUDVAYNE Bassist Says "Only Time Can Tell" About A Reunion

"I don't have any answers for you on that front."

"I don't have any answers for you on that front."

Mudvayne existed between 1996 and 2010, and released five pretty influential albums during their time as a band. The band went on hiatus in 2010 and have never reconvened, with its members having gone on to form new bands like Hellyeah, Soften The Glare, and Audiotopsy. Last we heard about a reunion was from guitarist Greg Tribbett, who said there's just no time for a reunion right now.

Bassist Ryan Martinie remains a little more optimistic about potentially getting back together in an interview with MetalSucks, saying "I don't have any answers for you on that front" and "I don't know. Only time can tell."

"Man, there's always talk [about us coming back]. Which is a good thing. I'm fortunate enough that the thing that we made together still garners some kind of interest from our fans and for those people who may have wanted to see us and never got to. There's still kind of the, 'Man, are they gonna do it?'

"I don't have any answers for you on that front. Only that it's fun when Mudvayne still is something that people enjoy… But as far as it being a future item… I don't know. Only time can tell."

So who knows. 2020 is going to be 10 years since Mudvayne has been gone, and I'm sure with the right amount from the right festival there will be rumblings of a reunion. Until then, please enjoy Mudvayne memes.
