Pig Destroyer recently announced two September shows in Baltimore with two "completely different lineups" of openers. One of the openers for the September 14 show is a band called Zealot R.I.P., who if you're like me might've flown under your radar as probably a local band or something. Turns out they are, but they've got one hell of a lineup.
Zealot R.I.P. is Pig Destroyer keyboardist Blake Harrison, Darkest Hour guitarist Mike Schleibaum, Olympia guitarist Peter Tsouras, and Frodus drummer Jason Hamacher. The band bills themselves as "death punk", which makes sense given their members. I'd imagine we'll hear some of their material sometime in the near future, or at least before September 14.
