Remember a few months ago when Dillinger Escape Plan frontman Greg Puciato revealed to us that he was talking with Max Cavalera about collaboration. Well, it's moving full speed ahead. While us east-coasters were suffering Irene's wrath this weekend, Puciato was in the desert in Pheonix at Max's studio demoing some material. He posted the following update on his personal Facebook page:
Day two out here on this writing session with Max. Hotter than fuck in the middle of the Phoenix desert. Snakes and scorpions abound….drawn to the deafening noise coming from the room. Demoing heavy music the best way possible…at blistering volumes, no headphones, guitars and mics everywhere, all plugged in at all times, sweating and uncomfortable like we're fifteen in a garage again. Maybe haven't heard Max sound this pissed since Chaos A.D. Okay, time to get to work. Just checkin' in.
I am honestly incredibly intrigued by this project and can't wait any licks from this duo.
