KORN's Jonathan Davis Confirms Collaboration With MARILYN MANSON Is A Go

One day later and we've got an answer.

One day later and we've got an answer.

Yesterday we talked about the possibility of Marilyn Manson and Korn's Jonathan David collaborating on a new project. Manson heavily hinted at it but didn't commit to the project, leaving the whole thing up in the air. Fortunately Davis wasn't going to beat around the bush even in the slightest and has admitted outright that the project is a go.

Yes this is happening #ogshit

I wonder who else will be in on this? Both these guys clearly have some serious pull within the industry, though we're not even sure what genre the new music will be in. So I guess we'll find out soon enough? Davis seems like he's eager enough to spill the beans, so we'll keep an eye on him for the time being. We can all agree though, that a collaboration between Davis and Marilyn Manson would probably be one of metal/rock's biggest moneymakers. Manson previously teased:

“Jonathan [Davis] and I used to be really close. We hadn’t seen each other in quite some time. Now he and I are talking about doing something completely unexpected together.”

Davis seems in a collaborative mood lately, recently revealing a country project with Big and Rich.

The PRP points out the duo had worked together for Davis' Queen Of The Damned soundtrack, on the track "Redeemer," so it's not like these two were just buds and never made music. Manson and Davis seem like talented guys, so expecting the unexpected could be anything. I guess we'll find out sooner or later.
