KORN Working With Outside Collaborators on New Music

Korn appeared to be in this studio this March demoing a new album. Frontman Jonathan Davis confirmed that yes, the band is currently working on some new material and they'll begin the recording process once Davis is back from his extensive solo tour.

Now, in an interview with KLOS 95.5, Davis says guitarist and bassist Munky and Head have been working with "different people" on the album's new material. He also confirms that Korn will hit the studio toward the end of the year.

“I’m pulling double duty. Munky and Head have been writing with different people for a while now, getting songs together. And then we’ll all come together in L.A. in a studio. We’re gonna start writing some songs together for a week. So they’re gonna keep writing, and when I get back from [my solo] tour, I’m gonna jump right back in and write some more with them. And then we’ll start working on the record probably late this year.”

No word on who the "different people" are.
