Intronaut released The Direction Of Last Things in 2015, split with drummer Danny Walker in 2018, and recently teased that they were working with Cloudkicker on a new album. Now we've learned that Intronaut has left Century Media Records and has moved over to Metal Blade for a brand new record due out in 2020.
Guitarist and vocalist Sacha Dunable says the new record is by far the band's most intense.
"Intronaut are very excited to work with the legendary Metal Blade Records for our upcoming album and beyond. We've spent almost four years writing this thing, and it's by far the most intense record we've ever made. It's only fitting that it will come out on the most legit metal label around."
No word on who will replace Walker yet, or what Cloudkicker's role is. Intronaut acted as Cloudkicker's backing band on his one and only tour in 2014, so it'll be interesting to see how that chemistry crosses over five years later.
