Last we heard regarding the health of EYEHATEGOD frontman Mike IX Williams, he'd received a new liver and things were going well.
Now, Williams himself has reached out to Metal Insider to say he's doing well, and to thank everyone who's donated to his YouCaring medical bills funding page.

I’m procrastinating because I’m waiting to write something introspective and creative blah blah blah, but truth be told and blessed be, I am recovering from massive brutal surgery at a speedy rate and exactly where I want to be! Doctors are happy with my progression. Thanks to everyone who’s donated and contributed. Please continue to spread the word of these benefits, as there is a long road of medical expenses to be accounted for…"
To further help out Williams, a series of benefit shows will be held at Siberia in New Orleans between February 3 and 5. The event will have EYEHATEGOD performing with guest vocalists, Crowbar, Goatwhore, Superjoint, Thou, and a ton of other great bands! Get tickets here.
