Vinnie Paul Says Rex Brown's Book Is "Mythology," Says No To A PANTERA Reunion

So Vinnie Paul did or didn't get laid?

So Vinnie Paul did or didn't get laid?

Back in 2013, ex-Pantera bassist Rex Brown released his side of Pantera's story, titled Official Truth, 101 Proof: The Inside Story Of Pantera. Four years later in an interview with Rover Radio, ex-Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul calls bullshit on the book's contents.

According to Blabbermouth, the book stated Paul was "a strange person," that Paul "was always all about the 'party, party, party'" and "only got laid maybe one out of ten times."

"All I can say is that… I'll refer to Philip's comment about Rex's book. A bunch of mythology, man. We don't know where he came up with all this. More power to him, man."

Of course, the Pantera reunion that we all know will never happen came up, to which Paul said he'd love to! Just kidding. As usual, Paul isn't even remotely open to it, and when asked if it's correct that the surviving members would never get back together, Paul said "that's a pretty damn good assumption."

"I'm just gonna say I have no comment on any of that, man. I'm beyond Pantera. I've done so many other things with my life since then. And I always believe if you live in the past, you have no future. So, man, I'm happy doing what I do with Hellyeah, and I'm gonna leave it at that."

2017 – it's also not the year for a Pantera reunion. Again. Though at this point, who cares? It's been 14 years since Pantera, and Pantera sans Dimebag would just be weird.
