The latest bout of Five Finger Death Punch drama all started earlier this week, onstage in The Netherlands, when Ivan Moody announced to the crowd that this would be his last show with the band. According to reports, the band was fighting on and off stage, and we were assured that this wasn't just some publicity stunt.
More footage surfaced of the fighting on stage, and Five Finger Death Punch issues a total bullshit statement on the events, saying that it's all just rock and roll. Finally the truth came out and Moody said he was going back to rehab, and that Bad Wolves frontman Tommy Vext would be filling in for him on the band's European tour.
So that's it, right? Moody is going back to rehab, the band is carrying on, and that's that? You'd think so, but in two posts now taken down by guitarist Jason Hook (both captured by The PRP), it sure as hell doesn't seem like Hook wants Moody back. Case and point being the bit where Hook calls Moody a "cancerous painful toxic useless anchor," that he feels liberated to be without Moody, and that Moody is "a piece of shit."
So it might be a little more difficult for Moody to come back post-rehab.
Five Finger Death Punch's other guitarist, Zoltan Bathory took a more diplomatic approach to the situation:
Meanwhile, some footage has surfaced of the band performing without Moody and with vocalist Tommy Vext:
