Peter Wichers Is Over SOILWORK (Again!)

Peter Wichers cannot be more over it. The guitarist has announced his departure from Soilwork today over creative differences. This is notable because this is the second time he's quit the band, the first being in 2005. He returned to the fold a few years later, but looks like he realized that going "up" is no longer an option for the band's career. Here is what he had to say:

I want to thank everyone who has supported Soilwork over the years. It has been a wild and fun ride, but it’s time for me to explore different options in my career. I will cherish all the amazing moments I have gathered from my time with Soilwork, and I would not be where I am today without the help from you Fans, my family and Soilwork.

Thank you!
Peter Wichers

I'm sure it also has to do with the limited amounts of money one can make while being in a bad. Wichers has kids to think about and the rewards from heading out on the road and leaving your family probably weren't worth it for him anymore.
