BRAIN DRILL Breaks Up After 14 Years
After three full-lengths, an EP, and a revolving cast around founding guitarist Dylan Ruskin, Brain Drill has called it quits. Brain Drill says the reason for hanging it up is that they're simply out of spare time to play shows and do music anymore, which is an entirely logical reason to just stop. The band's final lineup includes drummer Alex Bent (Trivium, ex-Arkaik) and vocalist Travis Morgan (ex-Atheist).
As of last month we’ve mutually decided to bring Brain Drill to an end. We simply do not have the spare time to play shows, tour or record anymore. So after being a band for 15 years we’ve come to the conclusion that it’s best to just be done with it. We are very thankful and grateful for the support we were given by all of our fans around the world throughout the years in helping us create the Brain Drill trilogy. Thanks again to everyone for all of the support and Goodbye.
Brain Drill's lineup over the years has included bassists Jeff Hughell (Six Feet Under) and Ivan Munguia (Continuum), and drummers Marco Pitruzzella (Six Feet Under, Sleep Terror) and Ron Casey (Continuum, ex-Inanimate Existence), Steve Rathjen among others.
