Black Breath got 2014 off to a bad start. Late last night, Wednesday, Jan. 8, the band took to Facebook to make the following statement regarding drummer Jamie Byrum:
"Our drummer Jamie was hit by a car yesterday in Seattle and stayed the night in the hospital. He's undergoing surgery today for multiple breaks in his leg. We don't know too much else at the moment, but we will post more info as it comes."
The good thing is that he survived the hit. Unfortunately it doesn't sound like he'll be drumming anytime soon either, which is a major bummer! Our thoughts are with Jamie for a speedy recovery. We'll tell you the details as soon as we've got 'em.
