ALICE COOPER Inducted into The WHITE CASTLE Hall of Fame

Damn it, all this White Castle talk is making me want to grab a crave case.

Move over Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, there is a new prestigious hall of which the legendary Alice Cooper is a member.

I had the same thought you did… there is a hall of fame fore White Castle? Why, yes there is! White Castle, which originated in Cooper's home state of Michigan was a favorite of the shock rocker, and who can blame him? I have sworn off virtually all fast food, but White Castle is the one I cannot give up. It also doesn't help that I have a franchise opened within walking distance of my apartment.

During a recent induction ceremony, Cooper talked about his love for those deliciously cheap burgers:

“We didn’t grow up on McDonald’s, we didn’t grow up on anything [else], we grew up on White Castle,” Cooper said, seated in a suburban conference room across from a guy in a White Castle tie. “I never lost the craving for them…We played Detroit every Halloween, and I would always take the latest flight out back to Phoenix. I would have the guy stop, get a bag of White Castles, get on the airplane, and everybody on the airplane would go ‘I’d give you $5 for one of those’.”

Cooper also went on to say that White Castle should sell an aftershave product with the scent of the burgers. Um, yea, that's one way to get the ladies. Here's a news report on the induction from the Columbus Dispatch:
