The Faceless and The Zenith Passage began their mini-tour in Southern California on June 20, and up until then the band's lineup was still a mystery. We knew it would consist of founder Michael Keene, The Zenith Passage guitarist Justin McKinney, ex-Burning The Masses/ex-Hate Eternal drummer Chason Westmoreland, and presumably Aegaeon frontman Julian Kersey. While that information was mostly correct, it came as a (kind of) surprise to fans attending the show that in Kersey's place was Abigail Williams mastermind Ken Sorceron.
We knew that whoever was supposed to fill in for The Faceless recently backed out right before the band's tour with Between The Buried and Me, so whether or not that was Kersey isn't clear. Either way, Sorceron is sure to do a damn fine job with the group considering his throat-shredding performances on the most recent Abigail Williams record The Accuser.
Check out Sorceron in action below and don't forget to see Abigail Williams on tour with Belphegor this fall.
