DARKTHRONE, MISFITS Vinyl Sell For A Ton In May On Discogs

At the end of each month, Discogs publishes a list of their most expensive records sold that month. This time around people paid quite a lot of money for records by bands like Darkthrone, Led Zeppelin, and Misfits. The difference between the two 7" Misfits records below was that the $2,000 one is a black version from 1978, while the $1,999 version is a red one from 1979.

#29: Darkthrone – Transylvanian Hunger – $1,348.00
#28: Ozzy – Diary of a Madman – $1,383.00
#24: Led Zeppelin – Over the Hills and Far Away – $1,494.00
#10: The Misfits – Bullet 7″ – $1,999.00
#8: The Misfits – Bullet 7″ – $2,000.00
The top record sold in May was one by the band People called Ceremony ~ Buddha Meet Rock from Japan in 1971. It sold for $5,000.
