91-Year-Old Christopher Lee Is The Oldest Charting Musician With New Metal Christmas Song

A few weeks ago, we told you about Christopher Lee, most famous for playing Saruman in The Lord Of The Rings, and his new Christmas single, Jingle Hell.

Well, turns out the single did so well, that Lee is now officially the oldest living person to have a chart hit. Lee made history!

The distinction previously went to Tony Bennett at age 85 for his collaboration with Amy Winehouse in 2011, "Body and Soul."

But not any longer, with "Jingle Hell," Lee now holds the dubious distinction of the oldest person with a chart hit, with the track coming in at number 22 on the Billboard Hot 100. Congrats to Chris.

You can sample the single over at Amazon.com.
