Welcome to another edition of Heavy Metal Real Estate, where we explore how rock stars live by way of their real estate listings.

Previously, we've seen the lavish homes of Maynard from Tool, the Hawaii penthouse belonging to Disturbed's David DraimanMetallica's James HetfieldRob ZombieTrent Reznor's old Beverly Hills homeDave Mustaine's $5 million mansion, Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett's gorgeous hill-top beach house, Danzig's infamous Los Feliz bachelor pad, Sammy Hagar's absurdly huge Hawaii mansion, Slash's opulent Beverly Hills mansion, and Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris' opulent pad. Today we look at the way Lars lives.

Lars Ulrich parted with this insane San Francisco mansion he used to call home, in the Tiburon Hill Estates with panoramic views of the Bay. It's so high-end, it's only available as a "pocket listing" according to Loudwire. That means, you gotta know somebody to even look at this place.

To say this place is hooked up is an understatement. Here are some specs:

  • 13,000 square foot mansion
  • Six bedrooms
  • Nine bathrooms (six full, three half)
  • Five fireplaces
  • An underground basketball court that doubles as a squash court
  • A recording studio
  • A library
  • A six-person sauna.
  • Bay windows featuring unobstructed views of the Bay Area, including the Golden Gate Bridge
  • Over 25 rooms total on a 20,000 square foot lot.

Insane! The coolest part is the Metallica snake design in one of the bars. Here are an absurd amount of photos.
