We have reached the apex of the fashion world co-opting metal culture. High-end fashion line Vetements, who you may remember as the brand selling the most expensive death metal logo hoodie ever, staged a fashion show earlier this week in a McDonald's (yes, a McDonald's). But the McDonald's isn't the real story. The real story is corpse paint.
This is the first fashion show to my knowledge that has featured models in corpse paint running the "runway" – which happens to be an aisle in McDonald's.

We've written about the brand Vetements before, when we wrongfully assumed Kanye West was wearing a death metal logo to fashion week, but clearly one of the stylists had a phase in high school or something. Vetements is a high-end line (seriously, shirts are like $300) focusing on youth wear that likes to put on an ironic twist on fashion, hence the location being a McDonald's. You definitely can't afford any of these clothes even if you wanted them.
