Staind, la banda de la que no podías escapar a principios de la década del 2000 con canciones como "It's Been Awhile" "So Far Away", está de vuelta con un nuevo sencillo titulado "Lowest In Me". Es más rock de radio que la balada antes mencionada, y probablemente no les va a ganar nuevos fanáticos.
"Quería modernizar el sonido y ponernos al día", dijo el vocalista Aaron Lewis. "Ciertamente puedes reconocer a la banda, pero al mismo tiempo puedes escuchar que hemos estado prestando atención y entendemos qué tipo de sonidos y enfoques podemos usar que tal vez no existían la última vez que hicimos esto".
El guitarrista Mike Mushok agrega: "Innegablemente es la voz de Aaron, y lo mismo para las canciones. Nos reunimos y pasamos mucho tiempo centrándonos en la dirección, y realmente nos gusta cómo resultó".
