THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD's New Song "Obitual" Is Pure Obliteration

Seriously, this band coming back after 7 years is the best thing ever.

Seriously, this band coming back after 7 years is the best thing ever.

It's been a full seven years since Through The Eyes Of The Dead released Skepsis, and after a number of false starts with EP announcements and demo songs, the band has officially announced its brand new album Disomus. We got a taste of what's to come with their first single, "Hate The Living" a few weeks back.

Today is an exciting day at Metal Injection, because we are premiering the new song "Obitual." The new single is essentially four minutes of complete and utter riff-based annihilation. To add some awesomeness, original vocalist Anthony Gunnells appears on the track. Seriously, this song is so damn groovy and heavy that I'm not sure you're even allowed to dislike it.

Disomus is out October 13, and will be the band's first album with Wretched guitarist Steven Funderburk. Pre-order Disomus here.
