HEART OF JORDAN's Crushing New Track Will Leave You With "Deaf Ears"

Check out the new track from Heart of Jordan, the metalcore act out to deliver crushing grooves and solid hooks to the masses.

Heart of Jordan's impending conquest of contemporary heavy music began with last year's fantastic self-titled album. Although the band released it independently and has relied almost purely on word of mouth, they've began to gather attention among audiences hungry for crushing grooves and pummeling hooks.

And so the campaign continues with the new video for the song, "Deaf Ears." I reached out to guitarist Elijah White so he could tell us more about the song:

The song personifies addiction as "the creature" that "lives inside of your mind", and how that creature can persuade an addict to stay addicted and isolate themselves from those who want to help.

He goes on to talk about the video itself:

The video was shot at a prominent local venue in our hometown of Lansing MI, The Loft. Proprietor, Jerome White, has been a long time supporter of the local scene and treats the bands very well.

The shots in red were filmed in the Loft cargo elevator. They were inspired by the M. Night Shyamalan film, Devil.
