The Ocean is plenty phenomenal all by themselves, but what happens when you add in Katatonia frontman Jonas Renkse takes it to a whole different level. Renkse and The Ocean have teamed up for the band's new song "Devonian: Nascent" and it's the perfect blend of slow-build progressive metal and melancholy sadness. The latter of which comes from none other than the king of that particular sound himself.
The Ocean will release Phanerozoic I: Palaeozoic on November 2 and Katatonia really needs to come off hiatus soon so they can continue being Earthbound gods.
