The Lord is the new project headed up by Sunn O))) and Goatsnake guitarist Greg Anderson. The Lord will release its debut album Forest Nocturne on as a special LP Record Store Day release, and then on digital and further LP formats on July 29. In the meantime, you can check out the single "Triumph Of The Oak" featuring Sunn O))) and Mayhem vocalist Attila Csihar.
Forest Nocturne was produced by Anderson and producer Brad Wood, and given artwork by the legendary Dan Seagrave (Dismember, Rivers Of Nihil, etc.). Pre-orders are available here. It's also worth noting that The Lord plans to release another full length later in the year with collaborator Petra Haden in the coming months.
