Sumac will release their new record May You Be Held on October 2 and are streaming the new single "The Iron Chair" right now. "The Iron Chair" showcases Sumac being as spontaneous as ever, pushing and pulling on the sonic space around them to create a seemingly-breathing musical entity.

Sumac is vocalist and guitarist Aaron Turner (ex-Isis, Old Man Gloom), bassist Brian Cook (ex-Botch, Russian Circles), and drummer Nick Yacyshyn (Baptists). Pre-orders for May You Be Held are available here. Sumac also recently unleashed their new live album St Vitus 09/07/2018, all of whose proceeds being donated to a handful of organizations throughout the month of July. Check that out here.
