It's happening – the new Static-X album is coming in early 2020. As a quick recap, original members Tony Campos (bass), Koichi Fukuda (guitar), and Ken Jay (drums), and their new member Xero (believed to be Edsel Dope cosplaying as Wayne Static), went on a run of tour dates and promise to release a new album of unreleased Static-X songs.
The album was delayed when a treasure trove of Wayne Static song ideas as uncovered, and the band wanted to expand the scope of the project to "feature lead vocals by Wayne Static on virtually every song.” Today, the band released the first tease from the album, a track called "Halo."
