SCORPIONS Drops First New Single In Seven Years "Peacemaker"

They sound really good.

Over seven years after their latest record Return To Forever, Scorpions are back with a new single "Peacemaker." For a band that's 50-plus years deep into their career, Scorpions sound really good on pretty much all fronts of this new song.

"The first thing that came to my mind was the hook line 'Peacemaker, peacemaker / Bury the undertaker,'" said vocalist Klaus Meine. "I was just playing around with those words. At a time when so many people have died and are still dying of COVID, from devastating wars and other senseless crimes, it makes you feel that the undertaker must be working overtime. In a peaceful world after the pandemic, it will be time for the peacemaker to rule… that's an image that really appeals to me."

Scorpions will release their new record Rock Believer on February 25.
