Saudade is a massive collective of musicians masterminded by DJ Chuck Doom. The collective has been around for a while now, but has finally signed to Sargent House and announced their new EP Shadows & Light / Sanctuary Dub.
Saudade has now released a new song called "Crisis", which features John Medeski, David Torn (David Bowie, The Bad Plus, John Legend, etc,) and Gil Sharone (Marilyn Manson, Dillinger Escape Plan, etc), though the collective that appears on the EP is much more. Additional guests include Deftones vocalist Chino Moreno, Chelsea Wolfe, Yeti Bones of Ho99o9, Robert Thomas Jr. of Weather Report, Mackie Jayson of Cro-Mags, and Dr. Know of Bad Brains.
