QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE's New Song "The Evil Has Landed" Isn't Another Dance Anthem

A little like Like Clockwork, but happier, but also a little uncomfortable.

A little like Like Clockwork, but happier, but also a little uncomfortable.

Queens Of The Stone Age said it was going in a new direction with its album Villains, and that statement has held true thus far. The band's initial single, "The Way You Used To Do" was an outright dance track, and now the new song "The Evil Has Landed" sounds like a happier, semi-demonic version of what they would've written for …Like Clockwork.

So it seems as though Villains isn't all an attempt at radio play, though what's the harm in that? The dance-y stuff was good, and now whatever you want to call this is on par as well. Pre-order Villains here before its August 25 release date.
