If you think you know what the new Borknagar album is going to sound like, you’re probably wrong. The band’s new album True North certainly carries the torch of what they’ve been doing over the past 23 years, but also branches off into some really cool new paths as well. True North is out September 27 and will feature bassist ICS Vortex performing almost all lead vocals, as well as Profane Burial drummer Bjørn Dugstad Rønnow and guitarist Jostein Thomassen for the first time ever.
