HEART's Nancy Wilson Releases Eddie Van Halen Tribute Song "4 Edward"

Written for Eddie after he wrote her a song.

Heart guitarist and vocalist Nancy Wilson is now streaming her instrumental tribute to the late and great Eddie Van Halen with her new single "4 Edward", which is absolutely beautiful. According to Wilson, the song stems from the one time Eddie wrote a song on Wilson's acoustic while on tour.

"When Heart toured with Van Halen I asked Eddie why he never played acoustic guitar, his response ‘I don’t have one,’” said Wilson. “I gave Eddie one of mine and he immediately wrote a song on it that stole my heart. After he passed, it hit me so hard I felt it was time to pay tribute to him.”

Wilson will release her new album You And Me on May 7. Pre-orders are available here.
