After three EP releases between 2011 and 2015, New Jersey's hard rock prog-and-roll merchants Gyre are finally gearing up to release a full length. The album is called Shared Visions and is due out June 15 via the band themselves.
The band also recorded the album, and it was mixed and mastered by The Dillinger Escape Plan guitarist Kevin Antreassian.
The debut single "Wanting More" is damn good and really ought to stir up quite a bit of attention for these guys. It's pretty fast-paced, the main hook is extremely hooky, and there are just enough prog elements sprinkled in there that you're probably not going to catch it all the first time around.
