Freeze To Death In ABBATH's New Song "Calm In Ire Of Hurricane"

Black metal in May, y'all.

abbath 2019

Abbath's new record Outstrider is due out July 5, because summer is way too hot and everyone needs an icy wind to make things better. Or in Abbath's case, to consistently blast until you suffer frostbite. The group's new song "Calm In Ire Of Hurricane," which just premiered on Kerrang!, sounds exactly like that.

Outstrider was recorded at Dub Studios in Kristiansand, Norway with producer Endre Kirkesola (Blood Red ThroneIn Vain, etc.). The record is the first to feature drummer Ukri Suvilehto (SuvilehtoTuliterä), bassist Mia Wallace (ex-The True Endless) and guitarist Ole André Farstad (Ilti Milta). The record will also close out with a cover of Bathory's "Pace Till Death" from their 1988 record Blood Fire Death.
