I adore the Vancouver shredders in Baptists. Their edge to mathy hardcore is an addictive substance to fill your ear drums with album after album. So when I heard Nick, Danny, and Andrew flipped the script by switching instruments, enlisted a couple more bad ass players from the likes of 3 Inches Of Blood and Hard Feelings, then filled the air waves with something far more menacing and broody than their counterparts, I was all in!
Enter Erosion, the five piece brick wall of grotesque aural assault lathed in a blanket of sludge and pummeling d-beat temper. Together, they truly visit the boundaries of disgusting tones in hardcore, and as expected, let their creativity shine through out the upcoming debut album, Maximum Suffering.
