MUSHROOMHEAD Debuts New Vocalist And Guitarist Live

Two new mushrooms have found their heads, or something.

Two new mushrooms have found their heads, or something.

Mushroomhead hasn't exactly had the best month ever. Vocalist Jeffrey "Nothing" Hatrix quit the band after having helped found it in 1993, and guitarist Tommy Church also quit after having been with the band between 2012 and 2018. The splits came one after another, with Hatrix quitting first and then Church quitting a day later, and it didn't seem too amicable.

Now the band has debut vocalist Steve Rauckhorst (Pitch Black Forest) and their new guitarist is Tommy “Tankx” Shaffner (VentanA). Whether or not this will propel Mushroomhead back into the spotlight they haven't had in quite some time is up in the air, but we wish the new lineup all the best.

You can see both new members playing live with the band below at Music Lynxx in Mentor on the Lake, Ohio on March 17.
