Monotheist might not have released anything since its 2013 debut LP Genesis of Perdition, though it doesn't sound like the group has been taking music time off in terms of progressing as a band.
Take, for example, the groups' brand new demo song titled "Scion of Darkness," which covers everything from progressive clean sections to Left Hand Path-style buzzsaw riffing. of course, that's all atop a bed of straight up violent blasting and crushing riffs!
According to the band's vocalist JJ Polachek (7 Horns 7 Eyes, ex-Ovid's Withering), Monotheist's album is currently being mixed and should be out sometime this summer!
