SADISME's Violent, Raw Black Metal is Festering In Telepathic Communion

Sadisme

California black metal solo act Sadisme (French for 'sadism') has released its debut demo, Festering In Telepathic Communion, and I must say it is one of the most abrasive rides to Hell that I've heard in quite a while.

The liner notes state that "the anguished melodicism of enigmatic Sadisme architect Juggernaut’s riffs commingle in violent solidarity with the agonized wails of his vocals to cast that torment in high relief – a sonic tableau akin to the bloody regeneration scenes from the first two Hellraiser movies."

I'm not sure I could have describe Juggernaut's music so perfectly, but that is exactly what this is. It's fucking ugly, tormented and undeniably raw in such a way that only comparisons to Leviathan come to mind.

Festering In Telepathic Communion is an album that is intentionally difficult to listen to. It is intentionally sadistic and intentionally masochistic," says mastermind Juggernaut.

"It was made intentionally to disgust you. It was made to ask the question, “When all of the psychic borders you’ve built over the years come crumbling down and the demons in your subconscious flood back to the forefront of your existence, what will be the first plague you encounter?

"Festering In Telepathic Communion was made at the apex of this experience for me," he continues. "Realizing that these demons will never be gone and they will never be completely defeated. They will be there… Waiting for the slightest crack in your psychical wall, before slithering out and forcing us all to fester in telepathic communion with our demons no matter what we’re doing, no matter where we’re going.”

Sadisme's debut demo is out now via Grey Matter Productions, both digitally and on limited edition cassette (order here).
