Jackass 4 Officially Coming in 2021

It's crazy to think that Jackass premiered on MTV over 19 years ago (October 1, 2000). Where does the time go? I was very much of the target demographic when the show started it and loved the DIY nature of everything. It certainly had some influence on how we started Metal Injection with our public access show.

I was very much into the initial Jackass movie in 2002, and enjoyed the 2006 sequel, although not as much as the first. By Jackass 3D in 2010, it felt to me like the joke may have run its course. Paramount Pictures and Johnny Knoxville disagree, as today it was announced that Jackass 4  was greenlit for a March 5, 2021 release.

The press release on Deadline notes that the series has brought in $335 million in theaters worldwide. There was no info on what actual cast members will be returning to be a part of the fourth installment of the movie franchise.

This would be the first movie since the death of Ryan Dunn in 2011, via a car crash. Bam Margera has been floating in and out of rehab the last few years and is not in good shape. Steve-O seems to be doing well though.

Still, with all of these guys in their 40s (Knoxville will be 50 by the time the movie comes out), it begs the question if these sort of stunts are things that their bodies can withstand.

Are you excited for a fourth Jackass movie? What was your favorite stunt on the series?
