"We said to go from 1979 to 1996. I can't say too much."

Major rock musician biopics have been doing quite well lately, namely Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody and Elton John's Rocketman. That scene is going to get a little grittier soon enough thanks to a biopic focused on the early career of Ozzy Osbourne. Ozzy's son Jack told Rolling Stone the biopic has a writer and is in development.

"We have a writer," said Jack. "We said to go from 1979 to 1996. I can't say too much, but the film is an active development."

"From what I understand, it's about Sharon and I and our relationship," added Ozzy. "It's how we met, fell in love, and how we married. She's my other half. She grew up a lot with me, and I grew up a lot with her. We celebrated 38 years of marriage just recently."

"I hope it will be a story that everybody can relate to," Sharon said. "You don't have to be a fan of the music, because it's a story about a survivor. No matter what life throws at you, you pick yourself up and you start again. It's just an amazing story of overcoming everything that's thrown at you in your life."

It's not super clear if this is the same movie Jack was talking about back in May. In that interview, the movie Jack was talking about ends in 1982 and is all about Sharon and Ozzy's relationship. Though he did say "I think in the next few months, you'll probably see something coming up about it. But we haven't landed [at a studio] yet. So, fingers crossed." So who knows, maybe there's two separate movies?

That's not all that's going on in the world of Ozzy either. Ozzy is still recovering, getting stronger every day and working on a few projects. There's a new paranormal series starring the whole family, as well as a new show on A&E called Biography: The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne.
