Halloween is not just a time for awesome pumpkin carvings, it's a time to play dress up. While my Danzig costume didn't go exactly as planned, it still got some good laughs. That's what Halloween is about… just having some fun, and perhaps a few LULz.
Which is why, we've scoured the social networks to bring you a collection of Halloween costumes by some of your most (and least) favorite metal bands.
At the top of the post, you see James Hetfield of Metallica not driving 55, right next to the guy he's imitating, Sammy Hagar. Great costume Jaymz.
The winners of Halloween to me are iwrestledabearonce, who dressed up as old-school Korn:
Veil of Maya got in the Halloween sprit, but morphing into KISS of Maya:
They were totally outdone by Hatebreed's Frank Novinec and Matt Byrne, with the help of two friends who went all-out on their KISStumes:
Municipal Waste went as the Gay-KK. A++
Robb Flynn from Machine Head went as a viking:
And, keeping up with the retro theme, Machine Head bassist Adam Duece went as a caveman:
MyChildren MyBride stepped up and went as characters from Adventure Time. No LSP?
For those naysayers who said After The Burial aren't tr00 enough, guitarist Trent Hafdahl made a point dressing super-grim:
Periphery also went black metal…
Tosin from Animals As Leaders went as BLADE:
Jordan from Every Time I Die went as a werewolf, or perhaps we'rewolf?
These two would make a lovely couple, Cristina from Lacuna Coil and Mitch from Suicide Silence both had similar ideas:
Finally, what's Halloween without a few zombies? Here's Betraying the Martyrs and Phil from Whitechapel:
Thanks to ThePRP for compiling these. Now, it's your turn, leave a comment with a photo of your Halloween costume!
