Bill Kelliher was a little confused when he checked Mastodon's Facebook messages today, and noticed a message from a woman named Carol that accused them of scamming her son.
The woman claimed Mastodon sent her son "on a wild goose chase" and scammed her son. When Bill further inquired, it became somewhat clear that the woman was confusing the band Mastodon with something else. We're pretty sure she meant to contact the upstart social networking website of the same name. The screenshots are pretty funny:
Mastodon have since deleted the screenshots, but jeez Carol, get a grip!
Lambgoat points out that the social networking website make no secret that they took their name from the band. Point your anger towards them, Carol!
