For a very brief period of time, Harrison Patuto of Dissonance In Design was in Vale of Pnath alongside original guitarist Vance Valenzuela. The band has now taken to Facebook to announce Patuto's departure from the group (without getting into specifics) and have announced new guitarist Eloy Montes! You might know Montes from Flub, the California-based progressive metal band, though you might also have just heard his name in passing considering he's a damn good guitarist.
According to the band's Facebook-
Due to personal reasons, Vale of Pnath have parted ways with guitarist Harrison Patuto. Although his time in the band was short lived, he was an outstanding member of this band and is fantastic guitar player. Moving on from this is always difficult but we have so much in store for you, we can't just give up.
Having said that, we are very excited to announce that Eloy Montes of Flub will be taking over guitar duties! We are currently in the process of finishing the writing of our full length, and his contributions thus far are more than we could have asked for. If you aren't familiar with his playing, check out his band or even better- check out this clip of him playing the first solo in 'Sightless'.
>Cheers!

Plus, here's Montes proving he can play Vale of Pnath's stuff.
