Stone Sour frontman Corey taylor recently starred in the film Fear Clinic, so it makes sense that the band contributed to the soundtrack. What threw me for a loop is that the band decided to cover "The Dark" by Metal Church instead of writing a new song, though it's not like that detracts from how awesome it is.
Somebody in the band is clearly a Metal Church fan, check out the tribute to the legends in the single artwork:
