Oh, fuck.
The tour van carrying The Acacia Strain was struck by a drunk driver in Hartford, Connecticut, seriously damaging the one of the van's axles and leaving the rest of the band's tour dates in question, as well as their upcoming Canadian tour.
Vocalist Vincent Bennett took to Twitter, and posted the following:
This cool drunk dude ran into our van while it was parked. What a cool guy. pic.twitter.com/3818LTCr6e

Van axle is fucked. We cannot safely drive our van right now. Might not make Canada. I will keep you posted.

Oh, also; fuck drunk drivers.

Well, this fucking sucks. Hopefully the band can continue on, and not have to ditch their tour. This morning, Bennett posted this update:
Van got in the shop at 8:00am. Waiting to hear from them. Keeping you all updated

Update: Looks like the band isn't making it into Canada.
Missing tonight in Montreal and tomorrow in Toronto. We PROMISE we will do shows to make these up as soon as we can. See you in Cleveland.
