I haven't said this about an In This Moment song in a long time, but the opening riffs in the band's new song, "Sick Like Me," are pretty good.

The song is the lead single off their major label debut, Black Widow, and seriously, I can't even think about finishing this sentence because I just have that riff repeating in my head. Even Maria Brink's vocal line is a catchy hook. It would almost fit in perfectly in the early-00's post-nu-metal scene. In fact, this song is tailor made for "active rock" radio, basically SiriusXM Octane, which is sort of the scene In This Moment are hoping to get themselves in. They want that Halestorm money.
