Xerath made some waves with their first album I and II, in 2009 and 2011 respectively, and then seemed to drop off the face of the earth due to a line up change. Then in May the band very quietly dropped a new track titled "Sentinels" on a Candlelight Records compilation alongside a lot of other tracks, the most reported on being a new Sigh track. Was this new track the sign of a new album? Would it be called III? Yes to all of the above!
The band will be dropping III via Candlelight Records on September 16 and has given us another new track in the meantime titled "I Hold Dominion." It's much more straightforward than the band's previous two efforts and, in my eyes, much more crushing because of it! Jam the track below, pre-order the record via that same link and get stoked!
